This is my first Mustang!! I have been a GM guy my whole life, always hating on Mustangs. I have owned Camaros, Trans AMs, and Pontiacs. The engine in my 95 Z28 went, i had all these plans to make it the project, than realized there are not enough hours in the day anymore with having little kids and all. Also the Z28 is the biggest pain in the *** car i have ever had to work on in my life. So i hit the car market, when i saw and drove this beauty it was over. I have crossed over to the DARK side and im not looking back.

Its a 2001 Mustang Gt Vert
she has
BBK Short Ram Intake
FR 500 18" Rims
H&R Springs
Cobra Front Bumper and Fog lights
Fiberglass Hood
Cobra Front Brakes
Cobra Fuel Pump and Injectors
Cobra MAF
New Rag Top, Pumps, and Seals
MAC Exhaust, cat eliminator
410 Gears
Stage 2 Clutch

Heh. Welcome to the dark side, then! Don't worry, it's ok to play on both sides of the line. Fun cars are fun cars! Only a few really hard core guys from either camp will give you grief. And yeah, I've heard stories about the LT1s being more difficult to work on. If you ever have the chance, go for an LS1, great engine, and even a novice like me can do some work on em...

And you got a good looking Mustang to start with! I always like white with some good black trim, that one looks good with the black top and black rims, the smoked lenses, and convertibles are the only way to go! I like the Cobra look as well, all in all a good looking New Edge...

Yep yep, the pictures worked just fine. I think the basic level of access is 1 month of membership or 50 posts, something like that, it's in the rules somewhere... Just to help keep folks from joining just long enough to try to sell something or get an answer without contributing anything... So just wait a bit or talk a bit and those access messages should go away. Say hi to some folks in the New Member area, that's a good way to get started...

Have fun here! There's some good regulars in each section and plenty of useful information to be found, or just some fun idle chit chat to pass the time...

Also, where in Florida are you? My family is from the Tampa area, New Port Richie to the north and Bradenton to the south... I visit Tampa and Bradenton in particular fairly often...

Im on the other coast by Daytona. I found this forum when i was trying to fix the A/C, it was the Clutch cycling switch. for everyone out there if your A/C clutches on and off, and its full, first place to look is that switch.

Congrats, and welcome to the forum. I'd also hate everything if I drove an LT1 based camaro, getting smoked by everything makes for a bad life lol.
