Default Leaky problem

So i found a lil oil residue in the valley of my 4.6 towards the front well i think i have come to the conclusion that the head gasket is leaking just a lil. Is there any thing i can do to fix it with out having to replace the gasket. Its not terribly bad theres like an inch of section thats leakin. I dont have the money to have it replaced

Could also be a leaky lower intake gasket or leaky valve cover gasket.

I doubt your head gasket is leaking oil. That really doesn't happen a whole lot, but I suppose it is possible in theory. Mustang GTs don't have lower and upper intakes, just a one piece deal and they shouldn't come into any contact with oil.

Are you certain it's oil and not coolant seeping out and making the area wet? That would be an intake and or intake gasket.

Probably where the valve cover meets the timing cover.

This. Very little chance that it's the head gasket leaking.

You have no choice but to replace it, unless that thing leaks to its death.
