I recently traded for a 99 gt 5speed and I'm having some issues with it. Someone has put headers and full exhaust on it and a cold air intake. The problem I am having is that it is throwing several codes, most of them for o2 sensors, but one was for a purge valve. After I delete all codes, it runs fine for about five miles or so. It then starts dying at a stop or dropping rpms and shooting back up to about 2 grand or more. It's really a problem. Please help. It also seems like it has power loss and sometimes a miss. New plugs and coils.

 

Check all your vacuum lines, fitting with CAI and IAC, MAF. What was the actual DTC ?

 

The codes are p0443 and p1451. I am also having trouble locating the purge flow sensor in my car.
