Default Engine swaps

I have a 2000 mustang gt, I just got a new job where I'm making a lot more money and I want to upgrade my 4.6L engine to one with more hp, and I was wondering just how much extra work and how many extra parts would be needed to go to a 5.0L? Or even swaping in a cobra engine, I've seen this posted but have seen just bits and pieces of answers followed with ect., just kinda wondering what high output engines would fit in my stang the best

The easiest and cheapest way would be supercharge the current engine. A lot of work and money is needed for any engine swap.

That was my first choice, but the more I thought about it I'm not planning on getting rid of my car ever, and if I swap the engines and then supercharge it later I will be pushing a lot more hp than if I were to just supercharge the 4.6L

Personally, if I was to perform an engine swap, I would do a 4v swap with forged internals. Either way, to make 400 wrhp or more, some type of power adder will be required.

The only swap I would ever consider doing is a coyote swap

For the price of doing a coyoto swap u can swap in a 700rwhp NA big block. Or swap any other nitrous or NA carb pushrod motor making a ton of power. And it will be an easier swap.

If you want to keep it simple, build a forged bottom end, trick flow 2V top end, and add a blower. This combo is capable of more power than you can use on the street, and it uses your existing architecture. No conversion required.
