Default My heat goes from hot to cold

I have an 03 gt. When I have the heat on and go to the 3rd and 4th fan speed controls it starts blowing out cold. Can anyone maybe tell me what this could be?

It just goes back and forth it's not steady heat or steady cold. Could it be the thermostat?

Thermostat more than likely. It is probably sticking in the open position so the heater doesn't build up heat.
