Default mac lt header install question

I plan on installing my MAC long tube headers and o/r H pipe this weekend. While I'm doing so I'm going to change the clutch and fly wheel along with the associated parts.
Does dropping the tranny make the header install any easier? More room to work?
Are their any step by step guides on the forum for 99-04 V8 header installs? I have searches and find the v6 guide. I'm sure I have most if it figured out from.what I have read here but I would love a step by step.

2001 GT convertible.

Thanks. After looking at that one, I've seen it before I think. Are all those steps necessary? After reading a bunch here I don't see where others pulled apart the struts, tie rods, sway bars and such Also the k member.
Maybe I'm over simplifying this job in my head?

not all is needed but dropping the kmember might be needed.

Dont bolt both heads on with the trans out because u wont be able to lift the trans back in. Dropping the k member is simple and makes headers a peice of cake.

So can I bolt up the passenger side header then put the transmission back in, then do the driver side header?

Bro, I'd get the trans done and re-position the car so you can remove the K-member. its the easiest way to do it. Trying to take shortcuts might burn ya in the end

Whitefoxgt I appreciate the heads up. I'm sure you are right and I'm going to beat myself up. But I got the exhaust manifolds off by jacking up the engine. I'm going to bolt on the passenger side header. Then put the transmission back on. Then bolt up the driver side.
I am doing this by myself and don't think I can handle the entire k member.

You will probably get to say...'I told you so".
