Spark plugs wires n coil packs

I have a all stock 98 Gt and doing a tune up, was going to put in motorctaft double platinum spark plugs and change the coil packs to the Msd coil packs. Not to sure what wires to run with, I was going to go with Ford performance wires, but are the Msd wires better to go with ? Please respond thank you

wires are wires, coils are coils. you will gain zero performance by using the more expensive aftermarket parts

What's important is that you get quality parts, and not cheap junk. Ford Racing wires are not terribly expensive, but you can't go wrong with plain old Motorcraft, either. Prestolite makes a decent wireset too.

The one thing that I don't like about the FR wires is how their 9mm size prevents me from using the stock wire separators.

Unless you're going for a 100K change interval, I wouldn't spend the extra $$ for double platinum.

A spark is a spark. And it is widely accepted that copper is a better conductor of electrical current than platinum, iridium or unobtainium.

I use and recommend Autotlite 764's. Copper electrode, replace about every 30K. Set of 8 will run you about $12.
