Default Overheating problem 2008 GT

Having an issue with my car overheating, however, it will only do it like once a month. I changed the thermostat and replaced some belts and thought it was fixed but it just did it again after a few weeks. I have also noticed that after driving the car for a bit if I come to a stop and sitting at a light the AC will get warm but once I take off it will usually get cold again. Don't know if this is related or not. Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

You have a fan issue.Either the fan motor or the temp sensor that activates it.

The fan is turning but don't know if it is turning fast enough. Do you know where the sensor is located? Been looking it up but see multiple locations. Thanks for the response.
