Default Window Problem

The passenger rear window on my 2003 GT Convertible sometimes works. I’ve tried replacing the switch and the motor. Neither worked. My local mechanic looked at it and thinks it could be an issue with the computer not sending power. Does this sound logical? I hate the idea of paying him $700-800 but I need that window to work.

Considering there is no “computer” controlling the windows I’d be skeptical of that mechanic as well

On my '95, there is a "one touch window down" module, but it's for the LF window only. I think Ford incorporated this circuit in later models into a "General Electronic Module", but I don't know if the other window circuits pass through it as well...

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will chime in soon. Until then, best idea I have to offer is that maybe there's a damaged wire in the rubber boot near the driver door hinges. That's what gave me power door lock issues recently.

Here's the wiring diagram. It's for the coupe but I can't see a vert being (much) different.

Time to start tracing wires!
