Default 1999 mistang gt ECU replacment HELP!!

I bought 1999 mustang GT automatic with wynjammer supercharger. I drove it for a month and then the engine blew up. So I decided to swap 5.4 DOHC out of Navigator and I will use the supercharger on it. I already have the engine in and it start and I drove it. I just took the ECU out and found the one of the pin is bent and touching other pins. I pulled the pin to make it straight and I tried to start the engine on and it didn’t. How it was working when the pins and touching each other and when I straight it out it do not work? I am thinking that could cause the previous engine to blow up. I want to replace it, what ecu I can use? I know 1999-2004 ECU are different. How do I know what ECU fit my car according to the ECU code? I will buy one from the junk yard.
thank you

Is this the same car with the BOSS 302 intake you posted about, got any pictures?

Does it all fit under the hood?

yes it is the same one I previously posted. And Yes, it fits under the hood if you use 1/2” kmember spacer and cut the a little In the back bottom of the hood. But Unfortunatly, I didn’t use the spacer so I have a hole in the hood

My other mistake is the IAC is facing the top toward the hood. So Next, i am going to use the spacer, rotate the throttle body upside down, and close the hole I made in the hood.

you will need an adapter plates from MMR to fit any coyote intake manifold on 5.4 DOHC. Also I used mmr adapter plate to run cable throttle body on the boss 302 intake manifold. The TB I am running is 75mm from 1990-1993 mustang gt.

If you search the forum or even google it ECU pin assignment, all the pins are numbered and will be labeled whats it,s for i.e. ign, inj and so on

Good Idea. I will find out. I think the ecu is not good anymore. So I want to change it. How do I know what ECU that will fit my car from the codes. Is there any specific code for 1999 mutang gt?

That's a tough question, if it was running using the original ecu, i would be thinking why not get the same one, for now anyhow. part number is on the side of the ecu

A 5.4 is going to have different fuel tables and timing and with the super charger your going to have to have a custom tune and at that point they can make all those adjustments.

You could have a problem with the PAT system when swapping ecu's

I have read that 99-01 have different ecu than 02-04. So I want to know how do I reognize ECU between 99-01 and 02-04. I also found that IAT pin is touching the “voltage reference” and “fuel rails pressure sensor, input” pins.
I will flash the new ecu to the car. And I will tune the car once I have the supercharger installed.
