96 4.6 looses fuel pressure after shut off
My 96 4.6 GT is hard to slow to start, it turns over just fine. It feels like it has lost fuel pressure after being shut down.
Anyone have an answer what I should look for to correct this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Did some testing today. It seems like the fuel pump isn't holding pressure to the fuel rails after shutdown. I can turn the key on 3 or 4 times without hitting the starter, then turn and hit the starter and it will start quickly. This process primes the fuel system before starting.
The car runs good after starting without any starvation or hesitation.
The fuel pump was replaced last October before I bought the car. I'm sure it was a cheap fuel pump from Advanced Auto. I plan to replace the pump with a quality name brand pump and also replace the fuel filter under the car.
