all the diablo tuners i am seeing say 98-04 gt/cobra or 03-04 cobra. why won't they work for 96 cobras, they have the same specs as the 98s don't they. I have a diablo chip i just reinstalled after the previous owner uninstalled it after installing and tuning it. so now my car seems to be running rich i think. i can hear what seems to be my exhaust detonating until my car has been running for a few minutes. when its idleing if i hit the gas, its like a second before my engine goes, like im not getting enough air. i think i need a tune. any ideas, on where i can get a diablo tuner, or if i even need the chip in the first place, what good does it do, because now it only seems to hurt my performance

 

Depending on what Diablo chip you have, you can find dealers around they can reprogram your chip.

Check for distributors in your area...they are listed on Diablo's website.
