99 4.6 Long Tube Headers?
I have a 99 GT Convertible 35th Anniversary Ed. Here are my mods:

Performance

Subframe Connectors, Fenderwell ColdAir Intake, 3.73 gears, underdrive pulleys, flowmaster exhaust

Exterior

Style Bar, Painted Interior, Leather, 35th Package

Should I install BBK's 1 5/4 long tube headers or go with the shorty headers?

When I do the long tube's I'm going to install offroad pipes. My question is should I do more mods before I go ahead with the headers?

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm thinking about BBK they seem to have good products. In addition, I was actually considering going with the H-Pipe instead of the X because of ground clearance.

I'm planning on lowering my car and I don't want the x-pipe to be an issue. Also, are the long tubes going to get in the way of my lowering springs?

Thanks for your responses.

a BBK long tube, Bassani shorty x-pipe, & Magnapack cat-back will give u a great sound PLUS a huge performance gain. If u just want sound, & less performanceget the BBK's, a Pro-chamber, & then either the Magnapacks, or dare say it...Flowmater cat-back. Screw shorties...waste of money.

Lowering shouldn't be an issue if you only go 1.5in. Any lower, & I don't know.
