i am just getting into modding my mustang. i have the things i have already listed i have just ordered a cat back and i am looking at an aftercooled supercharger. i am wodering how much hp an 01 gt motor can handle safely. thanks for the help

i believe it's about 400 flywheel.

 

The rods are rated at 450 horsepower. 450 flywheel is the limit pretty much. 380-400 RWHP. You're pushing it at that point though. I would stay safe and stop at around 350 RWHP till you build the motor.

If you dont have the 3650 tranny it could be to much for your transmission

 

How much rwhp can the 3650 tranny handle?

 

Hey mike3219, is that the JLT cold air intake you have? If so how do you like it?

 

A quick note, I hope you saved your stock UDP's b/c you will need them for the SC.

 

i like the jlt a lot. it gives a real nice sound, and a little better throttle response, atleast i think it does.
