Is a speedometer calibrator, needed for all '99 stangs and up if you chnge gears...are you saying that you are going to install the geras yourself?...It is really a job for an experience person, also dont take it to any crappy shop not specialized on Stangs, sometimes they wont even know that a speedcal was supposed to be installed or programed and they will screw your car......I got 3.73's, they are great..

Get the gears installed or do them yourself

The speedcal can be bought from several websites:

www.brothersperformance.com

www.dallasmustang.com

Brothers was the cheapest I could find

It is VERY easy to do yourself, just follow the instructions with the kit. Its jsut a couple of wires to tie in is all, and flipping a couple of switches in the box.

Also, I believe that the speedcal is only for manual trans speedometer correction. If you are Auto, I think it is an computer tweek.
