Default Blew a strut?

Okay, My car is riding about 1/2-3/4 (guessing by eyesight and finger measurements) inch lower on the drivers front side than it is on the passenger front. I have a set of H&R Sport springs on my car, but they always seemed even to me. I noticed the car looked a little low on the drivers side a few days ago, and when i looke dover at the passenger side I was afraid I had blown a strut. I haven't hit anything, and the kicker is... the car doesn't pull.

I took it out yesterday to see if it would indeed pull (to ensure me of having a blown strut). I drove it at 25, 50, 60, 75 and even cruised for a while at 85. I had it on straight and even roads and it did not pull in either direction. I'm lost! WTF is going on here?

I have to drive home for X-mas about 400 miles, and I need to have this thing running right. I was planing on dropping in new fox body shocks and struts anyway. Will this fix my problem?

People with suspension knowledge and lowering experience on 94-04 GT's help me out!

Thanks in advance!

Ethan

Either you blew the strut or one of the springs broke... that'd be my guess.

edit: the green paint you painted your calipers with doesn't match the car color that well while you're looking at it that close.

Thanks, I knew that. Broke a spring? Wouldn't that effect the cars handling. I mean, it would be laying on the ground if it broke right?

how long has it been like that? if it broke off it could be lodged in there. I know the entire time I owned my escort one of the rear springs was broken. By the time I got around to getting all my suspension parts I sold the car. The spring just collapsed down on itself from a certain point in the coil, and it trapped the smaller broken part on the strut.

Im in the same situation as you. My driver side is about 3/4" lower than passenger in the front. I know why though... I swiped a curb during a turn last winter and bent the control arm a tiny bit. It was just enough to move the wheel back a bit relative to the body (caster). Havent gotten it fixed yet... you may want to check into that.

No noise. Not even over speedbumps or potholes. I am stumped. A blown strut would make me pull right? And a broken spring would rattle.... I dunno what's going on here.

Any fluid on the inner fender well plastic? If you blew a strut, there should be quite a bit of splash.
