6200 RPMs. Don't be finding out to much.

 

I think it more than that because my truck with a 4.6 has a 6k tach with no redline and in 1-2 I buried the tach*L*
like 7200+

 

I wouldn't sweat it, I've hit the rev limiter plenty of times when I light 'em up.

 

Yea I think it's ok. don't even knowif I hit it.. Don't want to do it again tho!!</P>


BTW: Why does it take so loooooong for the engine to decelerate? Is it all that exhaust back pressure? May have to do something about that one day...</P>

back pressure has nothing to do with it. it's alot of mass and their is nothing as fas as pressure to slow it down unless you kill the engine
