Default control arms

i tried to get my questions in on that post from yesterday but no one anwsered. i wanted to know how hard that the control arms are to install, and my car has a bar that crosses from lower control arm to lower control arm will i be able to retain this bar with aftermarket control arms. I read on a different forum that the uppers were not needed for a daily driver, and that the lowers will stop the wheel hop? Also what would you buy first control arms or subframes or just say F it and by them both.

fairly easy install first off get the car off the ground where you have some working room but still low enough you can use jack stands to suport the rear end. then with befor you put jack stands under the rear undo the shocks ath this point you can put a pry bar in and get the rear lown enough to slip the springs out. then its just a process of taking the control arms loose 8 bolts all thogeather and putting you new ones back in.

as far as the rear swaybar it just depends on what brand you buy most non adjustable lower control arms have tabs on them for the sway bar just look for that when you order.

Do you need a spring compressor to take the springs off or to put them back on?

No, a spring compressor is not neccessary for the rear springs.

I used a prybar and size 10s to remove the stock springs. Hey, since you have the axle down, might as well do the springs. Saves work later.
