Big tires in the back
Nothing wrong with rolling the fenders except I don't know how and I hate to pay for work. I'm slowly working through my list of mods that I can do. Being military, I have access to a garage, with pretty much any tool you could want, lifts, jacks, etc.
Some here say the BFGs grip better than the Nittos. Any truth to that, or are they about the same?

the BFG's grip better, but on the street you'll only get 3-5K max, depending on how much you abuse them. they offer less wet traction than nittos. the nittos will last 10K, my 555R's have about 5K on them, with lots of life left, only 4 passes at the track, and a few burnouts. they are alright in the rain, but i try not to drive in the rain. got the truck for that. a 295 305 or 315 nitto would be fine.
04blueGT,
I was told I could run 285s all the way around with a 2" drop and have no rubbing issues. They start getting pricey in the wider sizes, so I stowed the ego and went with the 275s. Traction isn't really an issue due to the lack of bottom-end torque.

Thanks guys. And you're right, I don't have a lot of torque right now, but I have plans. Evil, fiendish plans. Anyway, I still lose traction even with the mostly stock motor. I like Goodyear quality, but grip is for %@#&.
I'm looking at these wheels -
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT
and these tires - 275/40-17 front/315/35-17 rear
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....dex=1&vIndex=1
Keep in mind that I like curves as much as straight line. I'm putting some mods into the suspension in the spring once we have settled on the house and I've got everyone moved. (shock/struts, CAs)
