Default 02 GT problem

i had just bought an 02 GT coupe standard. now two days ago i was checking under the car and wanted to check the transmission oil. i took outa bolt and oil spilled out. after that i saw it was missing three! bolt on the black bar the hold the end of the transmission. now ever since i fix that the car started to make kind of like grinding noises. at first i thought it was the tranny that needed oil but i filed it up last night and its still making noise. mostly at low rpms. today i went to a muffler shop because i thought it might of had the same problem as the v-6 that i used to own but they told me that it wasnt a exhaust leak.what could it be?

are you sure the crossmember is missing bolts. its got holes in it that dont have bolts in them. also, there is a drainplug on the bottom of the tranny... you found it.

also, what type oil did you use? in these trannys you have to use Mercon ATF and i perfer synthetic. but i think there are a couple different ATF's that you can use.
