Default PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi everybody. I NEED some opinions. I am going to buy a short throw shifter for my little brother for christmas and I don't know which one to go with. He has a 2001 GT (trying to find out if it is th t45 or the 3650). Which shifter is the best on the market? Money is no concern, I will pay for the best. Thanks in advance everyone. I figured that this was as good a place as any to get a few opinions.

Early 01=t45. Late 01=3650. Look in the door jamb on the sticker to see for sure. If the TR code is K than its the 3650. Im getting the steeda tri-ax for mine for about $180 at www.mustangtuning.com Hope this helps.

thanks for the input. I should clarify my question. My Dad is looking tonight for the code so that I can tell what tranny it has. My question is which shifter should I get? Guess I did not make that very clear

the steeda tri-ax shifter is IMHO the best, some people will say the pro 5.0 shifters, or the MGW. But I'd stay stick with the tri-ax

My MGW rocks! Orange handle is great. It's very comfortable and much shorter. Supposedly it was getting better reviews than the tri-ax. I can't say if it's better b/c I havent used the tri-ax. Either is a good choice.

Either one you go with won't let you down. I went with MGW because they are supposed to have the shortest throw throughout. Plus it is supposed to be the quietest with very little tranny noise.

The Tri-Ax, 5.0 & MGW's are good. I have the B&M Ripper in my 96 and love it to no end. I wouldn't drive a stick w/o one. Just me 2 cents.
