Default catback install

I have a 99 gt and I was wondering if it is easy to install a slp lm2 catback? My friend said that he could do it but im not sure if i trust him. So... have any of you guys got yours professionally installed? And if so how much? Thanks.

40 bucks to get professionally installed at a muffler shop. I would have done it myself, but I didn't feel like it lol. I had no time to do it that day and wanted it done asap. Only took 30-45 min and thats bc they have to cut the old exhaust off. I have the LM1s and he said it was the easiest catback he'd ever installed.

Just installed my LM2 on my 02 GT about 2 months ago or so... Pretty easy to install, it was my first work on my stang (i'm 17). I backed my car on ramps which is a lot worse than jacks so I barely had any room to work with which made it very difficult to move around. Also, I didn't have a reciprocating saw to cut off the stock exhaust so it took me a while to find the right blade for my jigsaw to cut it off which still sucked since the jigsaw didn't fit under there too easily. It helps if you have a buddy to help ya but you can do it by yourself... I did (5'7" 140). Very satisfying to start her up after you're done and hear the product of the work you've just done.

all you do is cut out the stock catback and bolt in the new one and put it on the hangers... took me 2 hours to do the whole thing including cutting the pipe with a hacksaw.
