ordered some 17x9 chrome bullitts yesterday for my 98 black cobra...should look pretty sweet...I went with 17s instead of 18s cause I have a pretty hard suspension already...bilsteins, etc...now Im rethinking it...what would you have done?

 

17s. Less rotating mass and less weight.

18s would look awesome, but slow ya down. 17s are smarter for performance and they still look great.

no, I went 17x9 all the way around...I have it set up as more of a road car than a drag car...

 

w/ nitto extreme 555s...245/45

 

You crack smoker. The difference as far as performance is minimal. Also the 18" wheels would have been better for cornering.

 

I prefer meth...ha...ok, ok, I didnt want to spend the extra doe...are those 18's in your sig? looks great...

 

If your road racing it, why get rims that are 1 inch wider than my stock rims and have the same size tire? You should be looking at 265/275, not 245.

 

i would have gone with some 15x12 and slammed in some big *** drag racing mickey thompsons slicks.........but then again thats just me
