Default equal length compared to LT headers

is there alot of difference in performance between these two? If i get LT's then i have to get a new mid pipe. so i was thinking why not just get equal length headers that wil fit my mid pipe now. Is it not worth it to just get those or should i go with the LT's price is a little bit of a factor. arn't LT's harder to install? thanks

those are the ones that give shorties a bad rep they aren't worth much power unless you have some other things done and really need to get air out of the engine.

I am upset with my longtubes, because I only have 3 inches of ground clearance with the, I want to lower my car another 1 1/2 and If I do that I might switch to shorty headers like yoru thinking of. The longtubes will give you more horse power and a different sound.

I have BBK long tubes and i LOVE them. im not running any cats, have the BBK o/r x pipe and magnaflows...the sound is amazing. i also have an eibach pro kit and the groung clearence is extremely low, but knowing that, im always looking ahead for potholes n ****.

you should see how ground clearance is when you have cats.... the cats hang lower than anything else.

i thought that shoties and Equal where differnt are they the same? also my car is lowered like 2 1/4 with the eibach sportline springs and i already scrape on every thing with just an o/r h pipe. so the sound wont be much differnt if i just just get shorties?
