Anyways, you are upgrading from a HUGE TURD to a much SMALLER TURD. A couple more mods will really wake that car up and make it a blast to drive.

I believe an auto, convertible 96 GT would probably run mid 15's in the 1/4 as to where the 03 auto GT with 3.73's would run between a 14.1 and 14.4. You should notice the difference.

Damn....that 96 was a DOG.....you are really going to notice quite a jump. Since your an auto.....I wouldn't settle for those 3.73s, swap them out for 4.10s or even 4.30s......auto pwns jooooooo

1996 Coupe: 3077 lbs.
2003 Vert: 3379 lbs.
2003 Coupe: 3241 lbs

Tim: No more talking out of butt. All stats are from edmunds in case you're curious. The gears will be the bigest difference.

wow,, acer had some anger building up there,,

he's going from a 96 auto VERT to an 03 coupe...
so i would assume that the vert is heavier than his new 03

and yes, you'll feel a difference, i test drove a 97 Auto Coupe before i got my car stock, and i could tell an enourmous difference, (no, it isnt all because of the 5sp either)
