Default Wheel Sizes 96GT

I'm shopping around for wheel for a company Mustang that we are going to turn into an advertising machine

I know that the bigger the wheels the better, but I'm concerned about rubbing with the larger wheels. Has anyone seen 20" wheels on a mustang? I found some Cobra R chrome 20x8.5's that look very nice but I'm not sure how it will affect my car... Also, what size tire would go on that kind of wheel?

Should I just play it safe and go with 18's ??

Thanks in advance.

i have not seen any 20' wheels on a mustang but i've seen them in magizines i do not no for sure if theyd rub my i would think so my personal option would be to go with 18 and maybe lower it a 1 - 1.5 but if its for a company car its a write off any ways so go with what ever you fell like

l think your tires will start rubbing if the wheels are bigger than 18".

What kind of look are you going for? If you want it to look racey, go with 18's. 20's will be hard to find and wont perform nearly as well.

Ive seen a mustang with 20s. They really fill the wheels gap but don't know if they cause any problems.

18's on the front and 19's on the back kinda gay.... 20's i used to think it was cool now I don't.... 18's all around only way to go... i find it funny that my lil ol 17's all around have no rubbing issues and yet they still let me out accelerate the same car with 20's.... lol and mine still look sweet...

with 35 series on my 20's, i dont think that the overall diameter is more than the stock rim/tire combo. my speedo is still right on the money. point = i doubt you could out accelerate me, noslow50...unless your username indicates you are on the bottle.
