could i put a 315/35/17 nitto 555r on the back wheels on my 00 gt......i have the stock wheels on it right now? i need some traction so i just want to get some tires for now til i get the extra cash for the wheels.........so i just need to know if i could go with 315/35/17 on the stock wheels? if not what would i be able to go with?

315s are for a 10" rim, on the 8" rims the max that i've heard people running is either 265s or 275s

I would just wait and save up for the wheels and get it all at once. That way youll actually be saving money by not buying tires twice.
