0-60mph times?
A few questions..... I am very curious to know, what kind of improvements will I see with installing 4.10 gears in my car. I am having this done this week. Like does it knock .2 seconds off 0-60 and mabye .4 of a second off 1/4 mile times?
Also with all the modifications I have including, the SCT flash tuner, and stage 1 cams and 4.10 gears. what do you guys think my 0-60 times will be? I know 5.6 is stock... I am hoping somewhere in the 4's but does anyone know. I have a G-tech pro, I could read it but I get suck crappy traction and the weather is so ****ty here I really cant do much. Thanks.

I wouldn't even want to guess what your 0-60 times would be, but you may want to look at some suspension upgrades as well like upper/lower control arms, those will definately help with traction problems and also improve 0-60 times a lil. As Emann, he just put some on his gt.

Without more HP you will not see 4.XX second 0-60 times.
And 5.8 - 6.0 is a more realistic 0-60 number for a 99-04 GT.

With 4.10s you will rip through 1st gear like a madman. Its fun as hell!! It'll probably be the same because you will be shifting sooner and getting way more than a chirp from second. If I power shift 1st to second I can almost loose the road until I let off for a second to catch road. That is with my stock goodyears. With DR's it would probably be much better. The 4.10's are worth every penny, and thats the gear the 99-04 GT's should have came with.

ive been trying to figure out if having sticky tires would help your time to get to 60 mph at all....before you call me retarded, listen for a second
In a 1/4 ET,, the lower the 60' (more traction) the LOWER the trap speed
but with less traction (higher 60') the trap is higher...
so,,how does this work when measuring 0-60mph times?
would scratching the tires a tiny bit be your best bet with a decent suspension and fair tires be teh best time? OR
would a good suspension set up with some killer tires and a 6K dump with no spin be your best time to 60mph?

Optimal accleration is slight hazing of the tires, not a hard full stick launch.
In terms of what your 0-60 will be. No where near 4 seconds. 4.10s usually yield 2-3ths in the quarter, 3-4 if you can launch the car.
To get in the 4's you are going to need a bit more time and money invested.
I have esesntailly the same mods you list in your sig, minus LT and a MAF and I can run 13.6xx witha 1.9 60'ft and spinning in 2nd. In the 8th the car just breaks in to the 7's at 8X mph.
