Default shorty headers

Ok guys was doinge today and had the car jacked up... i think my car has shorty headers on it, and i also noticed there is no mufflers... will this combined with my mods be the reson for my damn near 13 second run in my 1996 gt.... i also have a good driver mod so im just wondering... i wanna get it on a dyno soon but out here in hell paso tx there is two places witha dyno and they both charge and arm and a leg... what do u guys think my power would be at? and what about torque... thank you in advance....

You are probably just a touch over 200RWHP if you do have shorty headers with full exhaust, but that's a high estimate.

I ran 196rwhp w/ Mac H, catback, densecharger, 85mm MAF

So you're probably right around there. Gears are the reason for your good times. If you have no mufflers, why does it have flowmasters listed in your sig?

I really doubt you'll see 13's with that setup. And you should be right around 200 to 210rwhp.

Agreed. With that your seeing mid-high 14's..

Oh it says flowmasters in the sig cuz thats what i was told when i bought the car but when i got under it the other day i noticed it had no mufflers on it... and no i dont have a timeslip, our track is kinda ghetto and only shows a time on an old scoreboard. Times are pretty accurate tho...

Well its really raspy and loud... i wanna get some lm2's but money is being saved for a pi swap right now so im holding off on it..

You think you have shorty headers? What do you see when you are under there? If you don't see any individual primaries (tubes) coming off the block into some kind of collector, you still have factory manifolds.
