i heard people talking about boosting your timing with a timing light, i have a 01 gt, are you able to use a timing light if so , how do you use it and what does it do?

Default RE: timing

You cannot use a timing light with a mod motor.

What you need is a Steeda Timing Adjuster or a handheld tuner or a custom tune from a dyno shop. Ideally a custom tune from a shop will give you the BEST benefits from advancing your timing, but a Steeda/Handheld will work just fine.
