Has anyone ever gotten pulled over for front driver and passenger windows being tinted? What about gotten a ticket for them after being pulled over, say for example speeding and a cop saw ur windows and ticketed you? What are the consequences? I am wondering cause i wanna tint my whole car except ofcourse for the windsheild. Any help? Sorry about the post but this applies to anyone. I just happend to have a 4.6.

sorry i live in nj, so its illegal to have any tint on the fronts. any % on the back is allowed.

Ive had my windows tinted on all of my cars for the past 12 years and was only pulled over one time. And it is illegal here in IL. Cop told me to take it off or he will give ma a ticket next time. So I just stay out of the area where he pulled me over. If im in that area, then I just put the windows down. I know its cold out right now and that would be kinda hard to do. Therefore youll just have to watch for cops a little more. I even had a cop tell me how nice my 96 ranger looked with the tint. So yeah, all cops are different. Some dont care and some do.

Illegal tint is a moving violation is about 90% of the US, which means = points against your insurance = which means higher premiums = which means less money to spend on your wagon.

It's not a mover here in IL. I got pinched twice, one time the cop was really cool and wrote me a $25 fix it ticket, the other cop was a total *** and gave me the full$75 dollar fine.
