alright im finally buying a programer.... well what i was wondering, what would be better diablo predator or sct Xcaliber 2
the Xcaliber says it has more option like MAF and injectoer sizes.and most sites dont show to much of what the diablo predator does...i saw a site that said the predator has and EGR removal button is that true... plz give me some suggestions

all the sites say pretty much the same thing timing and fuel curve but im looking for the best programer......diablo also comes with the computer link xcaliber u have to pay extra

 

They are both good programmers, and if you are going to ultimately get a custom (or dyno) tune they will both achieve the same end. The XCal 2 is somewhat more versatile with respect to user adjustments than the Predator, but neither provide the ability directly through the handheld to make the same adjustments as a professional shop with SCT or DiabloSport CMR tuning software. The XCal 2 will work with the SCT Pro Racer Package available to individuals, which will allow you the same tuning capabilities as the professional SCT software.

 

i chose predator, i dont really remember why.

 

what mods do you have done as of now? depending on your mods you may want to spend your money else where for the time being. If you have a near stock 5spd, you wont benifit much from a programer

 

ummm mods....... well i have headers, intake custom x-pipe a 100shot of NX nitrous....and u guys heard of the 5.4 swap.........so i was hoping the programer would free yup so more hp but i bought the predator and im going to morosso this friday 1/27 to see what im putting down

 

wait a min, sooo you put a 5.4 in the stang?? if so I'm really curious to hear what you make for numbers! make sure that baby is tuned on the dyno!

 

lets hope i have a good dyno run or i would of wasted about 1700 to put that damn engine in everyone said that it was easy.......not really for someone that has never done it it took me 8 days of hell......but i murder GTs all day so im not complaining.....and i also had to buy a bigger hood that put me back 500 bucks....so well see.......
