Default HELP! nitrous problem!!

I am using a 75 shot dry right now and i was getting on it in 4th and at about 3500 rpms the engine started to sputter (just like it would if traction control were on and the wheels were spining which they weren't) and the check engine light started to blink, so i shut the car off then turned it back on and everything seemed ok but the check engine light stayed on, any idea of what happend?? Do u guys think im ok now?? thanks for any input!!!

code was 5238 whatever that is, and no i did not make any adjustments to fuel, it is only activated at wot. I have heard you are safe running a dry shot up to 100, i pulled a few plugs out and they all look good, i just reset the ecu and i am going to go drive it i a few. hopefully its ok but that was weird what happend

i have searched, and didnt find anything on that code. normally you can go to obdii.com and find out the code. i didnt even have any luck with google.

call autozone, they can look it up. or call the dealership.

That cannot be the correct code. It does not exist in OBDII. I have the Diagnostic Trouble Code software on this computer and I get a blank. Are you sure it was 5238?

I am pretty sure, but i reset the ecu and drove it and it did not come back, I think it misfired really bad or it detonated, but i dont see how as i was running a safe shot
