Looks ugly, not worth the money. But to answer your question. yes it would be fine in the rain. It connects to your stock air box which will give a place for the water to drain off to.

how many other shaker hoods are out there ? and how much difference of hp does it make ? i presume it makes more than a CAI or something (brand new to this whole american muscle thing so dont mind my newbness)
