Default Tires???

What other size tires would fit my stock 17" Bullitt rims? I wanna get some wider tires than 245/45/17, but I wasnt sure what other sizes would fit my with my rims. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You could run into some uneven wear if you go with a size other than that which is recommended....

Those are the words of my friend who works at a local tire place, so dont quote me on that. But I was in the same boat as you, I wanted to to get wider tires but keep my stock rims. He told me that it could be done, but I would probably need to replace my tires more often than if I got the best fitting wheels for the tires. So I guess I'm gonna hold off on tires until I get wheels.

275/40R17s will fit and not have uneven tire wear, but I would only put em in the back.

They look mean too.

I understand what your saying. I want new tires because mine are getting bald and theres these ones at Walmart, (everyone says dont buy from Walmart, but I always do and never have any problems), besides the ones I want from there are the only set of low profile tires they have ever sold.

I didnt either. Would it look weird if I kept the tires I have now and get a different brand and put those in the back, because they would be new and have more tread, or should I keep it the same brand for all 4 tires? I really only wanna by 2 new tires for now, and just put those in the back, hence why I wanted wider tires.

It wouldn't look weird at all. It actually gives you a mean stance if your rear tires are taller than your front tires. I might consider doing this. Course I would probably get the same type of tires I have now, just taller in the rear.

I would get the same tires too, but taller in the rear, but I havent really heard of the tires that are on my car. Some type of off brand. I would just take the ones with more tread and put them in the front and buy 2 new tires for the rear.
