Some imports have called me out so they can belittle the mustang name. The cars are a stock evo 8 and an srt-4 with (not sure what) but quite a few mods. My car is an 04 gt 5spd and my list of mods start with- bbk ud pullies, trickflow upper plenum, cai, c@l 85mm mam, 3:90 gears, mac off/road x-pipe with 40 series flowmasters, upr short throw shifter, stage 2 clutch,and a fidanza almn flywheel. My driving skills are pretty decent but i havn't been to the track in a while. Do you think i stand a chance? If any of you know were the SGMP track is in south Ga I would love for you to come back me up thursday night. Thanks Nxgt

its hard to say w/o knowing what mods the srt4 has, but judging by your list, i bet you could take it. If both were stock it would be a close race. I know nothing about Evos so im not sure there...
BTW... How do you like the aluminum flywheel?? Hows normal driveability with it?

Yeah I have seen several stock races and It seems to be a drivers race. I raced a stock srt-4 the other day from a second gear roll and beat him pretty bad so i guess i'll just cross my fingers. thanks

Race him from a roll and you might have a shot. I was simply playing with one the last time I got a highway race with him. Never tried it from a stop but that AWD is hard to beat without slicks.
