on the 4.6 gts, how the hell do you unscrew that plug, a massive allen wrench?

no I'm not being a jerk. I saw a picture somewhere and the car was labled as GTS. I believe it was a 96-98 too. I have never heard of a GTS Mustang before and was wondering if it was any different...

If you don't have the right size allen wrench find a bolt that will fit into the socket,thread a nut onto the bolt and turn it out with a wrench.You might have to use a jam nut also.
