what year mustang?and what engine and whatnot

well not sure what year ya got but P0455 indicates Major Leak or no flow Detected in EVAP system.

I just had them fix mine not to long ago. It was the EVAP management valve it was stuck. The part costs like 30 bucks and its behind the right front inner fender well.

You have a check fuel cap light on?

the code is the same on eitehr a V6 or V8. Its evap system. I have no clue if it will hurt or not but if u have emissions it may not pass due to it being messed up

Tac how much did you pay to get it done? My emissions control valve needs replaced (or so my codes are tellimg me) and i think thats actually the same part. How hard is it to get to the gas tank on a mustang? Ive never dont it. Its a 96 Cobra.

This might sound stupid but I got a similar code off my GT at Advance Discount Auto(they'll read the code for you). A website I found listed the code as an EVAP problem. I changed the gas cap, unplugged the battery for ten minutes, plugged it back in, and I have not seen that damn light since then. Spend ten dollars before you fork out 300.00 plus.
