Default rims size diff.?

i was going to buy 17x9 17x10.5 but found someone who is selling 18x9 18x10.5 ... is there a downside in going with bigger rims? will it hurt me at the track or anything? will the 18x10.5 fit ok on the rear with no problems? thanks

John

bigger rims will give you less profile, which is better for handing, but not as good for launching....

true, so very true. cheapest i have found is $161 a tire, and that is a low end tire.
