Drop Zone lowering springs
I was looking at lowering my 2002 convertible GT. I have looked at Eibach, BBK...etc...etc. Anyone have experience with Dropzone springs. I see they are plentyful on e-bay and the pricing is cheap. My car never sees the highway or track...just used to drive around town.

RE: Drop Zone lowering springs
Are they just lowering springs? Or actual launch springs?

RE: Drop Zone lowering springs
Never heard of drop zone springs.. I have Eibach SPortlines a little low, but not to bad, I would go with the Eibach ProKit its like a 1" in the front and 1.5 in the rear.. compared to the sportliles is 1.5 to 2..

RE: Drop Zone lowering springs
I saw those when I was looking up springs for cheap. I'm sure they'd work out w/o a problem but I just wanted to play it safe with a known brand. I'm running BBK Gripp Specific Rate's (1.5 drop) and I love them. Not to mention the price wasn't too bad either ($170 shipped to the house)...

RE: Drop Zone lowering springs
ive herd of drop zone, i hear there pretty des but u might wanna change ur shocks/struts while ur in there cause lowering srings does a number to stock suspension, so u dont wanna get f ed up by the springs

RE: Drop Zone lowering springs
i dont think u would have a problem tho, but i am from the school of "you get what you pay for" (may be foolish i know) i got my H&R sport springs for 200 delivered and they drop the car about 1.5 inches or so, just right IMO, anymore of a drop is going overboard

In fact, instead of bumpsteer or C&C plates, I installed aluminum offset rack bushings and had it aligned. No problems there, either. |
