Default Drop Zone lowering springs

I was looking at lowering my 2002 convertible GT. I have looked at Eibach, BBK...etc...etc. Anyone have experience with Dropzone springs. I see they are plentyful on e-bay and the pricing is cheap. My car never sees the highway or track...just used to drive around town.

Thanks

Are they just lowering springs? Or actual launch springs?

Never heard of drop zone springs.. I have Eibach SPortlines a little low, but not to bad, I would go with the Eibach ProKit its like a 1" in the front and 1.5 in the rear.. compared to the sportliles is 1.5 to 2..

I saw those when I was looking up springs for cheap. I'm sure they'd work out w/o a problem but I just wanted to play it safe with a known brand. I'm running BBK Gripp Specific Rate's (1.5 drop) and I love them. Not to mention the price wasn't too bad either ($170 shipped to the house)...

i dont think u would have a problem tho, but i am from the school of "you get what you pay for" (may be foolish i know) i got my H&R sport springs for 200 delivered and they drop the car about 1.5 inches or so, just right IMO, anymore of a drop is going overboard

i assume you got it backwards with the prokit drop? rear sit lower than the front? you got a pre-runner stang?

I have the dropzone springs and they are fine. Installed them in August and not issues with them. However, I would recommend new shocks/struts. I didn't see the drop as I expected and the travel in the front end is not all that great. I'm buying the matching dz struts/shocks soon to fix the problem. I also installed polyurethane isolators to diminish the drop from 2 inches to 1.75 or 1.5 inches.

Anyway, the springs work fine and I have had nothing go wrong. In fact, instead of bumpsteer or C&C plates, I installed aluminum offset rack bushings and had it aligned. No problems there, either.
