Default cai question

hey guys, i have the opportunity to buy a mac cold air intake from this guy i know for 50.00. (it was on his 97 gt.) is there really any gain over the stock rubber intake tube? throttle response etc. i know it would look better, but is it worth getting? thanks for the help.

Theres not much of a gain with a CAI. For $50 I would take it though.

Also, does it come with a filter? If not, you might want to spend that 50 buck on a K&N air filter. It might only give you 1 or 2 hp, but it is resuable...
