Default full-length headers + ???

I was looking at the BBK full-length headers and would like to know if it would be better to go with the X-pipe or the H-pipe? let me know. also if anyone knows if the BBK headers would work on the 5.4 block also let me know.

Eh, not sure on the 5.4 motor, someone will get to it.

As far as the X/H pipe... Its really a preference. H-pipe will give better gains at lower rpms, and X gives better gains at higher rpms. X is definitely for race, and IMO, I like the sound of it. I think X gives slightly better gains overall than H anyway.

Im going BBK LT's and o/r X, its on order. I like the sound of the X better. The X will be a little higher pitched than the H.

H is deeper than X. X you will get some rasp at high rpms, but I have also heard the H sounds horrific at high rpms.

I personally just don't like the H. Plenty of people do though. Like I said, its a preference. Whatever sound you like better basically...

If your switching to a 5.4 block then dont buy any exhaust componets because more then likely you will have to switch them out.
X = Loud at WOT
H = Deep at Low rpms.
