Default Advancing Timing

Moved from NM to sea level, what effect would advancing my timing have on my 02 GT. Not smart on these things. I own a Predator Tuner and have seen on the posts that my stock timing is at 10 degrees. Would I benefit by advancing to say 14 degrees.

Default RE: Advancing Timing

You should notice at the seat of the pants more increase in throttle response at 14*

I have the Steeda timing adjuster and increased mine from the stock 10 to 14*

Stock the car dynoed at 237/270

with the timing advanced to 14 it dynoed at 247/292 This was also at the same time I put on a prochamber, so I can't tell you how much the timing increased power.

Currently I have the timing at 16* and have no issues with pinging for the past 2 years.

I run 93 octane btw just to be on the safe side.

I'm in Delaware, so I'm at sea level also.
