well, If you are going 2 inches... then yes for sure. But, anything less, I would try without the plates, but get an alignment. If they do get a good alignment, then your okay. If not, get the cc plates. I dropped mine 2 inches and needed them, but putting on cc plates can be done whenever... not like is has to be done as soon as springs put on. Just dont drive much till' you get your alignment.... good luck
After the install get an alignment, they may have to drill out the rivets to be able to adjust the wheels if so and a good alignment is obtained then use the money on something else....
I just posted a thread about d spec shocks, which I'll probably end up getting. I'm going to be gettin some h&r ss too, and I'm definately getting some cc plates.
