Default Synchro install?

After reading about all the synchro problems plaguing us. I got kinda curious as to how much a new synchro kit costs and what to expect for install prices. Anybody know?

its about $120 for all new syncros, and if you dont have knowlage about how tranys work you cant do it. it costs about $500 at a shop to replace them + parts.

T-45's arent as plagued by synchro problems as the TR3650's that are in the mid-01 to 04 stangs.

Buddy of mine had the rebuild done on that in his Mach 1. Under the warranty. Damn thing took a crap AGAIN right after the warranty was up.

I wasn't going to attempt it myself. It would probably be cheaper though if I bought the parts myself and just paid for the labor. They basically have to do a complete rebuild dont they? I have the T45 and I have the same problem a lot of people with the 3650 have. When it is cold I get a "clash" going from 2-3.

my syncros are crapping out pretty bad also, but once spring and summer come along ill be alright. cold weather makes it seem worse than it really is. i wouldnt have yours rebuilt though, i see you post lots about mods and such and i definetly reccomend upgrading to a new tranny. the tk0600 is about 1600$ +bellhousing and can handle 600whp, just to keep in mind because a tranny rebuild will cost close to 1000$ on your t45.

I thought about a swap... Is the tk0600 a six speed?
