Default Colors

I am wondering what you all think of my idea.
I have a 2002 Mustang GT Convertible. It's Laser Red Tinted Clearcoat with the tan ragtop. It also has the tan interior.

I bought all the parts needed to put the factory shaker scoop on it from the 2003 Mach1, including the black decals and the Mach1 hood.

My problem is, I think the black decals will almost disappear with the Laser Red color.

I am thinking that I have a decal shop make me some decals in white. My fiance thinks I should go with gold decals since the top is tan. At any rate, I am not sure if a decal shop can copy the black Mach1 decals and reproduce them in white or gold. Needless to say, the decals from Ford can only be had in black. I have yet to check out a decal shop and see what they might be able to do for me.

My other idea is, I just have the entire car painted in 2005/2006 Lime Green and just keep the black decals. I think the lime green color is way way cooler than the color my car is now but the expense of it all might just be too much for this time around. I think a 2002 Mustang that looks like what Ford should have made; a Mach 1 Convertible; but in Lime Green with black decals with the black shaker scoop and a black rear spoiler, would be really sharp looking.

What do you guys think?

Rob

Either ideal sounds original. I would go with the white mach1 decal, but then again im not really a lime green fan.

Do that and get a black top It'll be a head turner for sure.

Easiest graphic to match your current color scheme is gold metallic. It will certainly stand out against the red finish of your car and also coordinate well with your tan vert top and interior. Sounds like a winner!
