hmmm. you couldnt chirp in 2nd?
last night i chirped going from 2nd to 3rd.
my mods are in sig.
i shifted a little before redline.
is your an auto??
even if hes an auto, if he cant chirp second something is wrong
Not really, it depends on how you shift, the pavement you're on etc.

I remember when I was stock sometimes it would chirp, many times it would not, or you just wouldnt hear it. Like now, when i shift into second you dont hear the tires break loose but god damn you can feel it.
true, powershifting or D2D shifting should paint a few nice lines on the road, just driving normally i dont think it would but if you try it should, but also +1 on the they dont "chirp" sometimes

depending on traction, I can punch it off the line, and not spin... or I can actually chirp into second... with an auto.

i know its not me cause i kick my bosses stock 05 sideways in 2nd everytime at anything above 4,500 rpms. i just think my car is a little week for some reason. i dont care what kind of tires they are, it should be burning right through em. i have to get right to redline on mine just to get a little chirp. oh well i just got it so im sure ill be finding out soon enough whats exactly going on when i start upping the performance. oh yah it is a manual.

yeh i could chrip second after a few mods on my 2000 auto now that i have alot i dont chirp anymore i just spin barly any noise, lots of smoke but hardly any noise you sure your not spinning and just not chirping? i only chirp on the white lines at red lights besides that i cant even hear the tires spin. but i do have exhaust.

Nice dude, keep practicing i have the same car/mods as you can chirping 3rd won't be a problem, just keep practicing. Makes it SO much easier w/ the MGW. That shifter keeps getting better and better.

If you want to chirp the tires, just run 1st to redline, put in the clutch, floor it, drop the clutch, and there you go. (Probably not too good for the car though[&:])
