My friend keeps showing me vids of an rx-7 that runs high 8's with over 1000 hp. Im just curious if anyone has the link to the fastest terminator cobra or if anyone has any numbers. Because i know I have seen some in the 800 whp range.

This isnt near the fastest one, but it a STOCK MOTOR 9 sec street car.
970 RWHP and 89X TQ on 24 lbs with 15 degrees of timing and race gas. Bone stock motor.
Daily driven 9 second 6 speed cobra. Manny drove the car 200 miles to the track. Ran in the 9's at 150+ and drove it home. How is that for an example.
Just think what aftermarket shortblock, built auto, more boost could do[8D]
