I removed the ears from my front seats today. Much better looking now. Them things serve no purpose at all. What you think? Any of you do this already?

Looks alot better. I have never used those big dumbo ears either. I just did mine too, along with disabling the damn seat belt reminder Hey Spro why are your headrests different than mine? That's weird, I thought they were all the same.

They must of changed the headrest in 04 for some reason.

It's easy. You don't need to remove the headrests at all. Basically I just raised then up as high as they'd go, then angled them forward, and then used a hex key set to unscrew the two bolts that hold the plastic piece on the seat. Taking the headrest out would probably make it easier, but I left them in and did it.

Same here. I tried to take my headrest off but couldnt get it off. It easy to get off with it on anyways.

Ijust took one of them off, butI sort of stripped the other one and can't get it off, it started to **** me off so i stopped for tonight. My hex key didn't really fit either. grrr, thats really going to annoy me[:@]
